There’s finally proof that Earth-like planets can exist outside our solar system: Scientists have managed to measure the mass of exoplanet COROT-7b, revealing that it’s the first exoplanet with a confirmed density similar to our own.
(NASA): The bright clusters and nebulae of planet Earth's night sky are often named for flowers or insects, and NGC 6302 is no exception. With an estimated surface temperature of about 250,000 degrees C, the central star of this particular planetary nebula is exceptionally hot though -- shining brightly in ultraviolet light but hidden from direct view by a dense torus of dust. Above is a dramatically detailed close-up of the dying star's nebula recorded by the newly upgraded Hubble Space Telescope. Cutting across a bright cavity of ionized gas, the dust torus surrounding the central star is in the upper right corner of this view, nearly edge-on to the line-of-sight. Molecular hydrogen has recently been detected in this hot star's dusty cosmic shroud. NGC 6302 lies about 4,000 light-years away in the arachnologically correct constellation Scorpius.
Multitap from Unique Engineering have marked a revolution in the collection of draft beer. Devices manufactured with a variable number tubes (according to customer requirements).
With a sufficient flow of beer the equipment can perform a delivery of 1 pint of beer in 5 seconds.
This means that for the most sold tap "Multi6" with 6 tubes, can theoretically deliver almost a gallon in 5 sec. equivalent to 577 gallons per hour.
On several live - tests at Danish festivals it has been possible to tap 1800 pints per hour!
Multitap from Unique Engineering has no foam problems.
Click the movie above to see a demonstration of the Multi-Tap.
